When the eastern Bass Strait Islands were still a land bridge between mainland Australia and Tasmania, the location was a freeway for travelling aboriginal teams. With all the flooding in the land bridge the Tasmanian Aboriginal Neighborhood was separated from their mainland cousins they usually formulated their own personal lifestyle and methods.
